This is a fabulous brilliant red fabric marked Made in Hong Kong - Elsons. I do not know if this is a silk fabric or not, but it is wonderful. Measures 29" wide and it is available by the half yard. Having grown up on a farm in the Midwest, I'm drawn to simple and natural items - I do love the worn and tattered look of old linens. I wonder what their story is and how I would use it - probably in some sort of sewing project. Copies of pages from her Bible are on the back of some of my studio tags, complete with her notes and underlines; and pages from a beloved hymnal are a frequent addition to my packages.
