This Toshiba with exact model number L55-B5338 powers on as you'll see from photos, but screen assembly is damaged. It will need entire top assembly with hinges as you'll see from photos it's separating from base of laptop. I am unsure of how much RAM is inside, I do know there is RAM since I never removed it and it is getting some sort of video to the damaged LCD. The hard drive is clicking so that's bad. Selling this laptop as is for parts or repair. Someone who might have same model already and needs the base/casing or the motherboard from it since it appears to be in working condition. I assumed the Intel CPU model based on the model search via Google and appears the motherboard goes for $175-$250 for this model. i5 4th gen.
